The SA Group are proud to announce that on the 8th of June 2018, HSM Aero Limited (an SA Group company) acquired the Bristol division assets of City Engineering Systems (Bristol) Ltd from the official Administrators, Jones, Giles and Clay. The Bristol business, a state-of-the-art precision engineering company specialising in quality sheet metal work and fabrication in stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel will now trade as HSM Aero Ltd and referenced as HSM Aero Ltd (Bristol Division). 

We will utilise all the skills and equipment to continue to support and grow the long-standing customer base of City Engineering and integrate HSM Aero’s Aerospace, Automotive, Medical and Defence customers. Quality and Performance will continue to be maintained at the highest levels. 

In a statement, the SA Group CEO Duncan Hammond said, “We are delighted to welcome Bristol team to SA Group. The skills at the Bristol site are of the highest calibre and will form a big part of our HSM Aero Ltd business. We have retained all the key Bristol personnel, outstanding orders, work in progress and IP along with the state of the art machinery. We are excited to initiate best practice across the two sites learning from each and upholding and integrating the values of City into our own business units.” 

A build-to-print precision Engineering company that offers 5 axis machining, fine limit sheet metal and assembly, currently serving the Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Automotive industries from its 35,000 sq.ft site in North Hertfordshire. Holding AS9100 Rev D and IATF 16949:2016. Customers include OEM's such as BAE, Lockheed Martin, Ultra Electronics and Aston Martin. Thanks to this great opportunity we can develop SA Group's services into Semiconductors, Nuclear and the Oil and Gas industries.
